What really Happened at Regent Hotel Karachi

At that day, there was a fire at the Kitchen of Reagent Hotel Karachi  that is situated at Shahra-i-Faisal Karachi , usually PIA crew that are out of station and come via domestic and international flights stay there as per Rules and regulations of ICAO, that is international Civil Association that mandates that Air crew who complete more then 12 hours of duty should be allowed 5 star Hotel that confirm to international standard of 5 star Hotel so that Air crew is fresh and rested for the crucial and important Duty of Flight safety . As lives of countless passenger depend on it .

That Hotel was not 5 star and did not confirm to international standards of 5 star and had many problems like the Windows of hotel would not open at all and because of that , there was a lot of smell and fungal growth that was reported by the PIA crew to PIA higher management . The interior decoration was not up to the standard and would smell because of fungal growth and would not be clean as it should be .

The toilets or the hotel would sometimes had plumbing problems and sometimes the phones would not work .

On that day Fire broke down in the Kitchen , and it produced a lot of smoke and that smoke rapidly spread via the conditioning system towards the rooms and it as dead of night about 3 AM that people noticed smoke in the rooms coming from the Air Conditioner system.

The smoke caused people to cough and wake up and that saved those lives , as there was no fire Alarm or the phones never rang , the PIA crew who woke up informed the front desk and also the people in the corridors that there is smell 

This was not the First Fire at this place: 

At Regent hotel Fire had broken out Earlier and this matter as Hushed up and not made public by the Media and it is matter of concern when Fire had broken our Earlier why PIA and other Airlines did not do Safety Audit of this Hotel and stopped Contracting this for their Crew and its Stay.

It  is matter of Concern that PIA, that Managers of PIA had not taken into account the Safety of the Crew and its
